You can delete your Tutory account (parent or tutor) and the personal data linked to it at any time. This page applies to the Tutory Android app (in.tutory.app) and the website tutory.in, both products of Viantik.

• Parents & students: Open the Tutory app and log in. Go to Profile, tap Delete Account, type DELETE and confirm.
• Tutors: Open the Tutory app and log in. Go to Profile, tap Delete Account, type DELETE and confirm.

Your account is deleted as soon as you confirm.

If you cannot log in or no longer have the app, email us and we will delete your account for you.

• Send an email to support@tutory.in with the subject Delete my Tutory account.
• Include the mobile number you registered with, and whether you are a parent or a tutor.
• Send it from the email address on your account if you added one. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we delete anything.

We complete verified requests within 7 days.

• Parents & students: your profile and your student registrations.
• Tutors: your profile, subjects, fees, reviews, batches, enquiries, chats and advertisement banners.

• Payment records: amount, date and payment ID of recharges and advertisement purchases may be kept as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require. They are not used for any other purpose.
• Active plan: deleting your account ends any active plan, and unused balance is not refunded.
• Backups: deleted data may remain in secure backups for a short period before it is permanently overwritten.
